Advanced Processing Options Right Click

Right clicking on an action in the processing tab will bring up the above menu which gives some advanced options for your actions

Redo

Repeat this action

Pause

If the action is not running you can specify to pause this item so it is not processed when it's turn comes

Save Actions Without / with schedule Date

The action can be saved to disk and then imported to run again at a later date. To load the saved action back, click the IMPORT button on the Processor Tab.

Edit Action

Select this option to be able to modify the main settings of the action. Actions can only be modified if they are waiting - they can not be modified whilst processing. After selecting this option a text file will open listing the settings that can be modified.

Search and Action Modules

Several of the action tabs are of a similar appearance and fundamentally work the same way. These are

  • Like
  • Follow
  • Repost
  • Commenting
  • Playlist creation
  • Account plays

These modules work by you specifying a search that will be used to find some items (either profiles or tracks) that will be actioned upon (followed / liked / reposted etc.)

The search action tabs will all contain the options:

  • Search Input box
  • Custom Search Builder option
  • Random Pause
  • Repeat Hours
  • Number of Repeats
  • Unique / action once
  • Share Across Accounts
  • Max Actions
  • Scheduler (along with daily runner option)
  • Filter
  • Advanced

Unfollow

Soundcloud limits the total number of users you can follow at any one time. Once you reach this level or approach it, then you will want to unfollow some users you have followed. There are two main options

  1. Unfollow bot follows
  2. Scrape your followings then unfollow

1) Unfollow bot follows

This will use the database logs of who the program followed and unfollow those users

2) Scrape your followings then unfollow

The program will scrape all the users you are current following, then in oldest first order unfollow them

Additionally, if you have a specific list of accounts to unfollow, you can use the Unfollow from List functionality.

Daily Stats

A module that allows you to track what you account has been doing. Simply select your account and how often you want to scrape your stats (24 hours is probably the value you want – don't over do it).

Soundcloud Manager will scrape information regarding your account and all your tracks. Allowing you to track the progression of your promo campaigns. Additionally you can view the account conversions. These are a report of which actions you ran on which profiles that then began to follow your account. This is a very useful report, as it may be that a few of the actions you perform result in a much high % of follow backs than the others. Then you can focus solely on repeating these types of actions

Direct Messages

To access the Direct Messaging module, you need to click the Messaging main menu icon (1) then the direct message sub menu item (2).

Using multiple accounts

The commenting module by default is a Shared Action. Meaning if you select 10 accounts and create a 10 track commenting action, then each account will be used in sequence. So each of the accounts will comment on one track in turn. There is no option to have all selected accounts all comment on each track.

Advanced Account Details

Daily Limits

The daily limits allow you to specify what this account is allowed to process within a 24 hour period. These are account specific limits and will override the Global Daily Limits as set on the global SETTINGS tab.

What Limits should I set?

There is no perfect answer here, it depends. It depends on your goals, it depends on your account, your niche, how annoying your account will be, how spammy it is, how many hashtags you post, how many mentions you make, whether you want to keep your account live for the long haul or whether you want to churn and burn.

Todo

The todo module will give you some recommendations on how you can improve your profile / tracks. To generate a recommendation, simply check your account and click the Scrape Recommendations button. The program will then scrape your profile details and all your tracks and analyse detecting some areas that might need some focus.

Suggestions may include such things as: * Add track image * Increase the length of your bio * Add track descriptions * Give track X more plays

Do I need to use proxies?

No. If you don't use your account on your phone with a proxy, then you don't need one. Proxies allow you to run multiple accounts and hide the fact you control them from a single machine

How many accounts can I run on a proxy?

There is no definite answer here. Well there is, and that answer is "it depends". If you are using your accounts slowly and safely you can load more accounts on to a proxy than if you are hammering away and spamming everyone. Remember, if you get an account banned, all accounts that use that proxy are likely to also get banned. So the answer, use as many accounts on a proxy that you are prepared to lose in case of a ban.

Scraper / Search Tab

The scrape tab allows you to perform
any scrape / search and save the result to a file. The results will be saved to your Saved Data directory, found by the menu item HELP > SAVED

You can perform the default searches used on the action tabs and build a custom search. All searches can have a filter applied and the number of results wanted specified.

Email Scraping

You can scrape email addresses that artists have entered to their bio. Using the "Scrape Emails From Profile" function, if you provide a filepath of profile URLs, Soundcloud Manager will check all profiles for email addresses. The option

Account Right Click

By right clicking your account on the action tab you can view advanced and action specific information related to the selected account

i.e Right clicking on the account on the follow tab, you will be able to view follow information for this account

Filtering the accounts view:

If you have multiple accounts it can be difficult to view the specific accounts you want to. To overcome this you can use the Account Tags function. Once you have tagged your accounts, you can use the control at the bottom of the accounts list to filter in or filter out accounts based on their tags.
